Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting preschool-aged students as an onsite Physical Therapist for both our summer and fall extended school year programs. In this position, you’ll work with a caseload of approximately 25 to 30 students ages 3-5, primarily delivering therapy at our friendly and inclusive center. You’ll help cover a maternity leave for our six-week summer program and continue through the start of the regular school year, with hours structured at 40 per week and potential for a brief extension into November.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in New York State
  • Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings
  • Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) for early childhood
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Commitment to creating an encouraging, inclusive learning environment
  • Availability to work onsite throughout the assignment
  • Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ motor skills and develop individualized treatment plans
