This contract position involves working two days per week across several educational sites, serving a diverse student population from mild to severe needs. Key Qualifications:

Valid and active Physical Therapist license required

Experience in school-based settings or working with pediatric populations is preferred

IVP Fingerprint Card required prior to start

Comfort providing care for students with needs ranging from mild to severe

Strong organizational skills and adaptability for itinerant assignments

Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

Deliver physical therapy services at multiple school locations, supporting student progress as outlined in IEPs

Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs

Accurately document treatment sessions and maintain records in accordance with school policies and procedures

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure comprehensive care

Offer training or guidance to school staff regarding physical therapy interventions or equipment use

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to development of appropriate goals for students
