Step into a dynamic contract role supporting a diverse student population as a Physical Therapist (PT) or highly experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), working across the southwest Houston area. This full-time position allows you to directly impact K–12 students’ mobility and functional skills, collaborating with another PT to share a district-wide caseload. The assignment spans multiple campuses, giving you a varied and rewarding school-based therapy experience.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Texas PT license required
  • Open to PTAs with substantial experience in school or pediatric environments
  • Completion of state fingerprinting and background check
  • Experience using Frontline and SuccessEd systems for documentation preferred
  • Ability to reliably commute between district campuses; office space provided as a home base
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Must not have previous employment history with this school district or previous termination from any district (an affidavit is required)
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative PT services for a large, district-wide student caseload (160 students, 50 receiving direct services)
  • Collaborate with a second PT to coordinate care and balance workload
  • Provide therapy to students ranging from kindergarten through high school, adapting interventions to age and developmental stage
  • Complete timely documentation within Frontline and SuccessEd platforms
  • Engage with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and progress individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal regulations
