About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Sunnyvale, CA. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping patients improve mobility, strength, and independence while providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic exercises.
Assist patients with mobility, balance, strengthening, and functional activities.
Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment.
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and home programs.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate effectively with the care team.
Help create a positive, supportive environment for patients and colleagues.
Qualifications
Current California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Previous clinical experience is preferred but not required.
