Remote Physical Therapist in IL

Responsibilities include traveling between multiple elementary and transition program schools within the district to deliver physical therapy aimed at enhancing students' physical independence and participation. Caseloads typically range from 35 to 45 students requiring both direct interventions and consultative support in self-contained and general education classrooms. Primary duties involve conducting thorough evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, training on positioning and mobility equipment, and collaborating closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, therapists, and nurses. Accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, goal setting, and updates is essential.
Key qualifications and experience desired:
Work schedule is Monday through Friday, with varying start times between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM, conforming to individual school hours. Assignments are contracted through June 7, 2027, offering stable work hours averaging 37.5 billable hours per week.
