Key Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Illinois
  • Experience in school-based settings highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of pediatric and adolescent physical therapy
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for team collaboration

  • Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy services to a high school caseload of 15-20 students
  • Assess student needs, create treatment plans, and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families for student success
  • Document services and maintain professional records in compliance with school and legal requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • Support students in developing skills for independence, mobility, and classroom participation
