Bring your passion for pediatric physical therapy to a school-based setting and make a difference for K-12 students. This full-time contract position offers 35 hours per week, starting October 12, 2026, through March 12, 2027. You’ll be covering two consecutive maternity leaves during the fall and winter, ensuring consistent support for students and staff.

Key Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Current Physical Therapist (PT) license in Ohio or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience working with children in a school environment, especially with K-12 populations
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to adapt interventions to diverse student needs and learning environments
  • Organizational skills and flexibility to manage workload across multiple grade levels
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy services to K-12 students, supporting access to educational programming
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement individualized interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate therapy into students’ school routines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress reporting
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Offer ongoing consultation and training to staff on mobility, positioning, and equipment needs
