Qualifications for this role include:

  • Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
  • In-depth understanding of both typical and atypical sensory-motor development and musculoskeletal function in children and young adults
  • Experience with a broad range of evaluative and treatment skills tailored to individuals with multiple disabilities aged 3-21
  • Broad familiarity with orthotics, wheelchairs, adaptive positioning equipment, and assistive devices for a school-aged population
  • Key responsibilities will include conducting assessments, designing and implementing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with educational staff and families, and consulting on adaptive equipment needs. You’ll also take part in training sessions and provide insight during early morning or evening consults as scheduled.
