Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience in a school setting or pediatric therapy preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Strong commitment to supporting student success and inclusion
  • Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
  • Provide direct physical therapy services to address students’ mobility, access, and functional needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support educational goals
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to team discussions
  • Educate staff and caregivers on techniques and modifications to support student participation
