Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid and active Physical Therapist (PT) license required
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students, preferred
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques for various ages and needs
  • Skilled in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Strong communication abilities for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
  • Commitment to maintaining compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based physical therapy services to students, supporting their individualized education plan (IEP) goals
  • Assess and document student progress, adapting plans as necessary
  • Collaborate closely with special education teams, educators, and families
  • Support student participation in the classroom and throughout the school environment
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with district and professional standards
  • Participate in team meetings and workshops as required
