Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) for a school-based opportunity in the Hightstown, New Jersey area. This position offers the opportunity to work as part of a collaborative educational team, helping students improve mobility, independence, and access to their learning environment.

Additional details regarding the caseload, schedule, assignment dates, and school placement will be provided during the interview process.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct physical therapy evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
  • Support students in developing gross motor skills, mobility, balance, coordination, and functional independence
  • Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications when appropriate
  • Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education guidelines
  • Qualifications Required

  • Doctorate or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active New Jersey Physical Therapist License or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary educational team
  • Preferred

  • Previous school-based physical therapy experience
  • Pediatric physical therapy experience
  • Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
  • Experience working with students with a variety of physical and developmental needs

    Compensation for this position ranges from $52.18 to $72.18. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
