School-Based SLPA Job – Tucson, AZ

Soliant Health is actively seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time school-based contract opportunity in the Tucson, Arizona area. This role supports a large and diverse student population across PreK–12 schools, providing essential speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.

This is an excellent opportunity for a bilingual SLPA who is passionate about pediatric speech therapy and supporting students with diverse communication needs.

Position Details

  • Full-time position for the 2026–2027 school year
  • District-wide assignment (PreK–12 campuses)
  • Large and diverse caseload (approx. 14,900 students district-wide)
  • Support for students with IEPs and English Language Learners (ELL)
  • Onsite school-based services
  • Responsibilities

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services under SLP supervision
  • Implement treatment plans designed by the supervising SLP
  • Support students with articulation, language delays, fluency, and communication disorders
  • Assist with data collection and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and special education teams
  • Support bilingual Spanish-speaking students as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Help facilitate IEP goal implementation
  • Qualifications Required:

  • Active SLPA license in Arizona
  • Ability to work in a school-based K–12 setting
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to follow clinical direction from supervising SLP
  • Preferred:

  • Bilingual Spanish-speaking skills strongly preferred
  • Experience in pediatric or school-based settings
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and special education services
  • Experience supporting articulation and language disorders
