Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Massachusetts license as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
  • Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Ability to design and implement individualized therapy programs to address diverse student needs
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and timely documentation
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted physical therapy interventions for students in grades K–7
  • Collaborate with school teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Educate staff and families on at-home exercises and in-school accommodations
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to ensure holistic student support
  • Foster an inclusive, motivating atmosphere that encourages student achievement
