Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Physical Therapy license for the state of Illinois
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Ability to effectively engage and communicate with K-12 students, staff, and families
  • Strong organizational and time management skills for working across two buildings
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Dedication to supporting students’ functional and academic goals
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services for students across K-12th grades
  • Conduct assessments, develop interventions, and monitor progress
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, occupational therapists, and other staff
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Travel between two buildings within the district as needed
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and support educational planning for students with physical needs
