Qualifications:

  • Valid California Physical Therapy license
  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Understanding of IEP processes and familiarity with therapy documentation and goal development
  • Effective organizational and multitasking skills
  • Compassionate, team-oriented approach
  • Responsibilities:

  • Assess student needs and develop customized therapy plans targeting gross motor skills, mobility, and adaptive functioning
  • Deliver direct and consultative PT services per IEP guidelines, collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff
  • Maintain timely documentation and progress reporting according to school and state standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and service planning
  • Educate and train staff and families as needed for carryover and student success in educational environments
  • Engage in ongoing professional development
