Physical Therapist - School Setting in Ludlow, VT

What you’ll need to succeed:
• Active Physical Therapist license
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred

• Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy treatment
• Adaptability and organizational skills to manage diverse caseloads spanning elementary to high school populations

Key responsibilities include:
• Conducting thorough assessments of students’ physical therapy needs
• Developing and implementing Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and treatment plans
• Working one-on-one or in small groups to address motor skills, strength, coordination, and functional mobility
• Documenting services delivered and progress, in line with school protocols
• Consulting with educators and caregivers to promote carryover of strategies in the classroom and at home
• Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
