Schedule/Hours:

  • Flexible scheduling based on assignment needs
  • Home visits and some office-based meetings
  • Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (approved by APTA or AMA bodies)
  • Current, unencumbered license to practice physical therapy in the assignment state
  • At least 2-3 years of professional experience preferred
  • Current CPR certification
  • Proficiency with basic computer functions and ability to self-manage online documentation and HR systems
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and required liability insurance
  • Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients according to physician orders
  • Supervise PTAs and Home Health Aides
  • Maintain detailed health records and communicate patient progress to physicians
  • Participate in interdisciplinary plan-of-care meetings and in-service education
  • Educate patients, families, and agency personnel as needed
