In this role, you’ll assist patients as they work toward restoring physical function and maximizing performance, supporting their adjustment to disabilities. Schedule/Hours:

  • Start at the Chelsea site, switch to another location in July
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients and establish comprehensive plans of care
  • Interpret physical therapy evaluations and tests to set treatment goals
  • Administer manual therapy and guide rehabilitative exercises
  • Instruct, motivate, and assist patients during sessions, including in the proper use of assistive devices
  • Evaluate progress and adjust treatment strategies to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants in accordance with policy and state regulations
  • Maintain detailed documentation, including billing records and evaluation notes
  • Engage with patients’ families to set shared goals and foster clear communication
  • Participate actively in ongoing quality improvement efforts throughout the facility
  • Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program (Bachelor’s or Master’s pre-2016; DPT for licensure post-2016)
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • BLS Certification required
  • 1-2 years of hospital, rehab, or ambulatory experience; orthopedic PT expertise preferred
  • Proficiency with medical terminology, EMR systems, and excellent communication and organizational skills
