This travel role in pediatric physical therapy offers specialized experience within a hospital outpatient department. You’ll expand your clinical expertise working with diverse pediatric diagnoses such as developmental delay, autism, torticollis, and orthopedic conditions. This setting is ideal for therapists eager to diversify their resume and collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary team. Schedule/Hours:

  • Four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday (8:00 am to 6:00 pm)
  • Flexible self-scheduling for patients with blocked time for inpatient evaluations and documentation
  • 36-hour guarantee with the potential for up to 40 hours
  • Occasional weekend on-call rotation; no holiday requirements
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Colorado PT license and current BLS certification
  • Pediatric physical therapy experience required
  • Ability to treat 8-10 patients per day, primarily in an outpatient setting with some opportunities for early intervention and acute inpatient assistance
  • Experience with developmental, orthopedic, and neurodevelopmental diagnoses
  • Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality therapy for pediatric patients within hospital outpatient, with occasional inpatient coverage as needed
  • Collaborate with pediatric PTA and rehabilitation aides under the supervision of an experienced OTR
  • Complete timely, accurate documentation and engage with families to support patient progress
