Schedule:

7:00 AM – 7:00 PM shifts

Qualifications:

Current and unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist (PT)

Minimum of one year’s recent experience in hospital-based physical therapy strongly preferred

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT preferred)

Active BLS certification

Exceptional communication and patient advocacy skills

Adept at evaluation, care planning, and documentation in a fast-paced setting

Ability to collaborate effectively with medical, nursing, and rehabilitation staff

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and evaluate patient function following surgery, injury, or illness

Develop and implement personalized plans of care focused on restoring mobility, reducing pain, and preventing further injury

Utilize therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and assistive equipment as appropriate

Monitor progress, adjust therapy interventions, and document outcomes in medical records

Educate patients and their families on post-therapy exercises and injury prevention

Communicate regularly with physicians and other caregivers to ensure continuity of care

Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to discharge planning
