Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Massachusetts
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged students, is strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of pediatric therapy techniques and interventions
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and therapy teams
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy services to elementary students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

  • Assist with functional mobility, adaptive equipment, and classroom modifications as needed
  • Engage in regular communication with teachers, special education staff, and families
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation on student progress and therapy outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide insights on students’ needs and goals
