Deliver comprehensive physical therapy services to patients of all ages and diagnoses within both outpatient and inpatient hospital settings. Schedule:

  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current Alaska Physical Therapist license in good standing, or post-graduate status with FSBPT paperwork complete and preparing for licensure exam
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (current)
  • No minimum clinical experience required; prior hospital-based experience is preferred but not required
  • Ability to provide care in both standard hospital therapy departments and rural village environments
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting medical literature, composing documentation, and effective communication with diverse teams and cultures
  • Solid command of MS Office, email, and internet resources for research
  • Strong mathematical skills for clinical calculations and data interpretation
  • Problem-solving skills and flexibility in adapting to varied care settings and resources
  • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on physical therapy treatments to inpatients and outpatients
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individual care plans based on clinical assessment, evidence-based guidelines, and patient needs
  • Maintain thorough and accurate patient records and communication with multidisciplinary team
  • Utilize hospital and mobile therapy equipment as appropriate for the care setting
  • Demonstrate respect and cultural awareness in interactions with all patients and community members
  • Fulfill all organizational protocols and contribute to a supportive, quality care environment
