Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Minnesota
  • Previous experience providing PT services in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Ability to work independently while being part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to therapy and student care
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students requiring PT services
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing valuable input on student goals and progress
  • Implement evidence-based interventions within the school setting to enhance student participation and mobility
  • Consult with educators, parents, and administrators to ensure student needs are met
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports according to school and regulatory guidelines
  • Provide education and resources to staff and families on mobility, safety, and adaptive equipment
