Bring your passion for helping students succeed into a dynamic school-based setting as a Physical Therapist. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with students and staff to support motor skills, functional mobility, and overall well-being, making a meaningful impact in the educational environment. This is an onsite-only role, conveniently located near Lowell, MA, with a consistent one-day-per-week schedule from ASAP until June 18, 2026.

Qualifications and Required Experience:

  • Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Massachusetts
  • Willingness to obtain additional MA educational certifications, if required
  • Experience working with children or adolescents, ideally within school settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and students
  • Commitment to professional growth and maintaining best practices in pediatric therapy
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, plan, and provide appropriate physical therapy services to students according to IEPs and school requirements
  • Monitor student progress and adapt therapeutic interventions as needed
  • Document treatment plans, sessions, and outcomes with accuracy and timeliness
  • Collaborate with other school professionals and families to support student needs and learning goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and school-based trainings as assigned
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding special education and therapy services
