Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Valid Physical Therapist licensure (required)
  • Prior experience with pediatric or school-based physical therapy, particularly with PreK populations, is highly valued
  • Familiarity working with special education (SPED) students is an advantage
  • Bilingual Spanish speakers highly encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration capabilities
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy assessments and interventions to primarily PreK children, adapting services based on students’ unique needs and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, SPED team members, and parents to drive student progress
  • Maintain detailed, compliant records according to district and legal standards
  • Create engaging activities that promote student motor development in a school-based setting
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute your expertise to support student success
  • Keep abreast of the latest therapy techniques to maintain best practices
