Step into a rewarding school-based contract position working with a diverse student population ranging from ages 3 to 21. Starting at the beginning of the next school year and continuing through the end of the 2027 school year, you'll collaborate with a supportive team, including two self-sufficient PTAs whom you'll help supervise.

Qualifications:

  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist required
  • Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric populations in schools
  • Ability to travel between multiple school locations (mileage reimbursement provided)
  • Strong communication skills and supervisory experience is a plus
  • Comfortable collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
  • Open to contract/travel professionals
  • Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to a caseload of around 40 students
  • Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized therapy interventions
  • Supervise and collaborate with two experienced PTAs
  • Document sessions and progress in accordance with school guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with educators and families as needed
  • Travel between school sites as assigned
