Key Qualifications:

  • Current Massachusetts Physical Therapist License required
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
  • Ability to work effectively with a K-7th grade population
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families

  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess students’ gross motor and functional mobility needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other related service providers to address students’ IEP goals
  • Provide direct therapy services and consultative support within the school setting
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state, federal, and district guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and ongoing professional development
  • Educate staff and families on adaptive equipment use, exercise programs, and safety strategies
