Sunbelt Therapy - Hospital - PT Contract Today Apply

A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Physical Therapist to deliver care in both inpatient and outpatient settings within a hospital environment. This role provides the chance to work with a diverse patient population, helping individuals regain mobility and achieve their therapy goals using evidence-based practices.

Schedule:

Mon–Thurs: 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Fri: 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Work at the hospital one Saturday per month

Responsibilities:

Evaluate and develop individualized care plans for patients with a variety of physical impairments or injuries

Deliver physical therapy interventions for both inpatients and outpatients, adjusting as needed for progress or changes in condition

Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements

Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure comprehensive care

Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises, post-treatment care, and recovery expectations

Contribute to a positive therapy environment by supporting clinical protocols and quality initiatives

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience practicing as a physical therapist, with exposure to both inpatient and outpatient care

Current BLS certification required

Valid New Mexico state physical therapy license or eligibility for NM licensure (pending licensure accepted if included with application)

Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care

Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and adapt to variable patient needs

This position offers a contract duration of 13 weeks, beginning as soon as possible. Those meeting requirements will receive automatic offers—no interviews required. An approved $105/hr rate accompanies this assignment.
