Position Title: Physical Therapist (PT)

Assignment Dates: August 19, 2026 – June 9, 2027
Schedule: Full-Time, 30 Hours per Week

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to provide school-based therapy services for students during the 2026–2027 school year. The Physical Therapist will support students with physical disabilities and mobility challenges, helping them access and participate in their educational environment. The PT will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote student independence, safety, and functional success throughout the school day.

Student Population

  • Kindergarten through 12th Grade
  • Approximately 20 students on caseload
  • Responsibilities

  • Conduct physical therapy evaluations and assessments to determine students' functional needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals.
  • Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services in school settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers to support student participation and access to education.
  • Recommend adaptive equipment, positioning supports, and environmental modifications as appropriate.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on data and outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Qualifications

  • Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state Physical Therapist licensure.
  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students across a wide range of ages and abilities.

    Compensation for this position ranges from $48.20 to $68.20. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
